Cavallo’s competition line set to be a winner!
Put one of the dreariest winters behind you with Cavallo’s new Spring/ Summer collection which promises to brighten even the darkest of days!
This year’s Cavallo collection offers two colour themes; Equine Energy and Blue Perfection – both of which are set to turn heads, whether you’re on or off a horse.
The Equine Energy range is based around the warm colour of flame red, which fits perfectly when combined with subtle natural tones including walnut. Meanwhile azure blue, grey melange and blue night are the season’s latest on-trend colours used in the Cavallo Blue Perfection look.
With such a gorgeous collection of products, choosing items could be tricky, so here’s our top picks:
The high-tech waterproof jacket, the Gabriella (RRP £165), offers that great mix of fashion and function, while the Gianna (RRP £135) jacket has that extra sporty edge thanks to its Cavashell material. And for those warmer days the flattering high tech material mix Gia (RRP £129) waistcoat is perfect. Polo shirts are set to be bang on trend this summer so check out Cavallo’s offerings; the Georgina (RRP £69) and Geena (RRP £65) – all of which have the added benefit of being antiodour.
A range of accessories help to complement the collection, with belts including the Gracia (RRP £59), pretty scarves like the Gini (RRP £35) and caps like the Goya (with rhinestones) (RRP £25).
Breeches need to offer comfort, durability and performance and Cavallo’s collection ticks all these boxes. The new Ciora Grip ST (RRP £189) with the Cavagrip full seat are super flattering and the added rhinestone detail makes them really stylish too. Those looking for extra bling should check out the Cosima Grip with Swarovski detail (RRP £179) which are dirt repellent and extra stretchy, while the Caja Grip (RRP £149) are still a top seller.
Successful BETA return for Zebra
It was a successful return to BETA for Zebra Products who teamed up with retail specialists Citrus Lime to welcome people onto their stand.
Used as a platform to launch their brand new business-to-business website, which is being created by Citrus Lime and will transform the way retailers order and update their stock, there was lots of interest from retailers who popped by to say hello and find out more.
Zebra treats retailers to Sprenger trip
A group of lucky retailers from the UK and Ireland were treated to a two-day trip to Sprenger in Iserlohn, Germany by Zebra Products Ltd. They were given a tour of the factory followed by a seminar where they heard about the extensive product range, history of the company and also had the opportunity to ask any questions.
‘It was a great trip and an opportunity for some of our retailers to see firsthand what goes into making Sprenger’s market-leading bits and spurs,’ said Pam Mildner, sales executive at Zebra Products. ‘We had a lovely traditional German meal on the first night and it was great to be able combine work with a bit of pleasure. Sprenger made us all feel very welcome.’
The professionals’ choice
Riders seeking maximum performance combined with ultimate protection for their horses when jumping should look no further than the pro-jump short vento boots from Veredus.
These innovative functional fetlock boots help to improve performance thanks to their effect on the horse’s hind leg action, and are popular with leading showjumpers including; Bertram Allen, Marcus Ehning and Pius Schwizer. Meanwhile the anatomically shaped guard protects the fetlock, while the VENTO system, characterised by double ventilation, keeps the horse’s tendons cool as the heat is channelled to the outside by the 3D mesh ducted fabric. The boots are also waterproof.
The pro-jump short vento boots come in two options – either with interchangeable Velcro straps or with elastic straps and are available in medium and large, black or brown, RRP £115.
